Destin, Florida - The Panhandle’s Best Family Vacation Destination

White sand, family friendly environment plus best water slide makes this the pick of the week!

So far, the area on Florida's panhandle has seen only weathered oil in the form of tar balls and tar mousse, but Okaloosa County, along with the city of Destin, have agreed to move forward with a unified plan to protect their beaches and waterways. They say they'll be spending about $5 million per month to protect their land, and they have one message to the feds.

Destin's beaches and businesses are OPEN!
Recreational boaters, fishermen, commercial and charter boat captains are advised to montior VHF 16 on their mariner radios for East Pass open/closures.   East Pass is a NO WAKE ZONE due to the protective boom placement and will be enforced in order to protect the boom. Boaters are asked to use caution around the boom areas and to help protect our coastal resources
