Rosenberg Library and Museum - Galveston

Opening in 1904, the Rosenberg Library is the oldest public library in Texas, in continuous operation. Led by the board of directors, the first librarian, Frank C. Pattenqv (librarian from 1904 to 1934), initiated several programs that emphasized community involvement.
The Rosenberg Library and Museum holds the bragging rights to having one of the top four collections of Texas History artifacts. Listen in as Eleanor Clark, curator of the Rosenberg Library and Museum tells Talk of the Bay the story about this wonderful little museum.

The Rosenberg Library and Museum is located at 2310 Sealy, in Galveston. For more information visit www.rosenberg-library.org .
