May 22 – Wild West Show Opening Butler Longhorn Museum – League City
The Butler Longhorn Museum celebrated its grand opening with a Wild West Show. Gunfight re-enactments, rodeo clowns, story tellers, a silent auction and great refreshment booths filled the grounds surrounding the
museum.
More than a thousand guests visited and toured the museum. Three floors of wonderful displays, designed by curator Jennifer Wycoff, depict and recreate the story of the Longhorn cattle and their role in the history of League City.
