April 25 – Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams – League City
The FantaSea Yacht is the perfect setting for the 3rd annual “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams” charity dinner cruise. This dinner cruise benefits the Jeanette Williams Foundation for Children’s Cancer Research. And some of the proceeds are used to send children from UTMB in Galveston’s “Rainbow Connection” to Camp for All; camping grounds located in the Brenham area.
Kids attending this camp are reminded that in spite of
the cancer they are battling, that they are ‘normal’ and can enjoy being with their siblings and camp counselors. This simple summer activity of ‘camping’ restores self-esteem and self-confidence into these youngsters.
“Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams”, will be held on Sunday, April 25th from 4-7pm. Tickets are $100. For more information, contact Dianne Troop at 281-703-7370, email us at jwfoundation@yahoo.com, or check our website at www.jeanettewilliamsfoundation.org.
Listen in as Dianne Troop, the founder of the Jeanette Williams Foundation tells Talk of the Bay about this cruisin’ good time around Clear Lake. The Jeanette Williams Foundation is a 501 c-(3) organization founded in the memory of Dianne Troop’s mother Jeanette Williams for the purpose of raising funds for children’s cancer research and special projects for the children and their families. With your help we can find a cure and truly make a difference for these children. Sponsorships are available.
