Houston Symphony League Bay Area – Bay Area

The Houston Symphony League Bay Area is a volunteer group focused on music education for the Clear Creek Independent School District.

Over 250 men and women volunteer their time to promote musical education and opportunities for the Bay Area community. Listen in as Pat Brackett, President of the Houston Symphony League Bay Area, tells Talk of the Bay about the league, its missions and their activities.

What’s really fun about this group is that their monthly meetings include live entertainment. It’s worthwhile joining up just to be able to attend the meetings.

The musical education supported by this group includes the “Maestro the Magnificent” puppet show, for first graders to sending kids to hear the Houston Symphony. These children benefit from multiple years of musical education and appreciation; “A lifetime of beautiful music for every child”.
