February 20 – The Philadelphia Mummers at the Hotel Galvez – Galveston

One of our favorite attractions, during Mardi Gras, are the Philadelphia Mummers. Wearing elaborate, colorful, themed outfits this marching band has entertained the world over.
 

As part of their tribute to Galveston, the Mummers performed in front of the Hotel Galvez. Needless to say, visitors to the hotel along with Mardi Gras enthusiasts were thrilled to listen to the band and watch them perform.
