December 4 thru 6
– Dickens on the Strand – Galveston
Last year, only three months after Ike, the Dickens on the Strand was
held. A scaled down version compared to previous years but still it was
there. This year, on December 4 thru 6, Dickens on the Strand will be
back to its pre-Ike size, stretching to Mechanic and Market Streets.
Some of the traditional Victorian activities will return and a couple of
fun new activities, including a Victorian Bed Race.
