Wiredin.cc Flash Mob Dance
Hi Everyone,
If you know what a Flash Mob Dance is then you know what we’re trying to accomplish. For those of you that are unfamiliar with this crazy idea, here’s the definition:
A flash mob is a group of strangers who organize themselves, using electronic media such as cell phones or the Internet, to gather together in a public place, behave in a predetermined manner for a predetermined amount of time, and then quickly disperse.
A successful flash mob event depends on the element of surprise. Participants, called mobsters, share news about the time and place for an upcoming event through postings on blogs, chain e-mail messages, SMS text messages and social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
With fun being the key motivator, Wiredin.cc is planning a flash mob dance and we’d love for you to join in on the fun. Here’s what you need to do:
1) Sign up and get all of your friends to sign up for our weekly newsletter eTalk of the Bay, all
we need is your email address. (Signup box is located in the top right hand corner of all
pages on Wiredin.cc) We will keep you posted on the latest information on the Flash Mob Dance including location, date and time will be announced soon.
2) Encourage all of your friends via Facebook, Twitter etc. to sign up also…the more the merrier.
3) Learn the dance: This is the link to the Instructional Video page on Wiredin.cc.
You will have approximately 5 weeks to learn the dance routine. We will announce the
performance location, date and time via eTalk of the Bay.
4) Have fun with the whole thing, have practice parties with your friends. Invite your family to join in, get groups of co-workers together…just have fun with it.
