– Holiday In The Park – League City
This year the grand parade on Saturday night will be dedicated to Lynn
Gripon, of Lynn’s Landscaping. A community minded man, Mr. Gripon’s
family will be leading the parade.
The weekend of holiday celebration will start off with a ‘Movie in the
Park’ featuring A Polar Express; without a doubt this will delight the
young people in the crowd. Saturday morning starts off with the brand
new Candy Cane Parade; where kiddos from 1 -10 march down Main St.
decked in holiday costumes. Saturday evening
features the Grand
Parade. Tens of thousands of people will bundle up and come out to watch
this medley of floats, dignitaries, local celebrities and folks having
fun. Sunday, things will still be going strong. The arts & craft booth
will be there for your Christmas shopping and the carnival will hosting
a great time for the kids.
