December 4 – Festival of Trees – League City
Each year a forest of gorgeously decorated trees comes to South Shore
Harbour Resort. Some small, some tall, some traditionally decorated and
some decorated with a lot of imagination; all are unique and all are
very special.
These trees are used to
decorate the Crystal Ballroom for both the Holiday Fashion Show and
Luncheon and the Holiday Gala. And the trees are then ‘adopted’ out for
the holiday season to homes and business in the bay area.
Listen in as Annette Dwyer, Executive Director of Interfaith Caring
Ministries, tells Talk of the Bay about the Festival of Trees…it’s a
fabulous holiday tradition and a great way to help ICM, help families in
need right here in our own bay area.
