January 15 - A Safari of Fashion - Clear Lake
Leopard spots, zebra stipes and exotic bird feathers were the focus at the Safari of Fashion Show hosted by the NASA, Clear Creek, Friendswood Rodeo subcommittee. Local celebrities donned clothes from bay area boutiques and stores and strutted down the catwalk.
Everything from formal wear for both men and women to sophisticated casual wear from Back Bay Boutique were featured.
The fashion show was correographed by Lenny Matazewski and held at the Gilruth Center at the Johnson Space Center.
The fashion show was followed by a fun casino party that featured Julianne McBride as the entertainment.
