Kicking Back and Enjoying the Bay Area
Eddie and I decided to take the week off to regroup and recover from the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project. The weather was warmer and the pace a little slower both elements that made for a wonderful relaxing weekend.
The weekend started off with a fun visit to Sundance Grill II, at Waterford Harbor to enjoy dinner and some great music. On Sunday morning, we joined Marcy and Jack Fryday for a wonderful brunch at the Lakewood Yacht Club. There was a wonderfully huge and delicious buffet to select from topped off with a couple of mimosas all while overlooking Clear Lake. Later that day, we got to visit with some of our friends from Kemah’s official Mardi Gras Krewe, Krewe du Lac. These fun loving, bead throwing folks always seem to find new ways to have fun. Today, they were trying out a new concept to the bay area called the Pedal Party. It’s basically a bar on wheels and everyone participating helps pedal the bar around town while enjoy their favorite beverage. All in all it made for a wonderful weekend. |
