Krewe of Barkus and Meoux – Galveston

Sunday, February 3, 2008 pets, as well as their owners, will be decked out in Mardi Gras garb. Come on out and decide for yourself whether the pets or their people are having the most fun.

Pre-registration is $15 per pet and includes an event t-shirt. A Special Pre-parade Event – Microchip your pet. The Galveston Island Humane Society supports the national awareness campaign for permanent pet identification. Local veterinarians will be on site to microchip your pets.

The Krewe of Barkus and Meoux was formed in 1999. The goal of this krewe is to provide a festive venue for pet owners to celebrate Mardi Gras with their pets.

Remember, proof of current rabies vaccinations must be provided for all pets.
