Krewe Babalu - Galveston

Now that the 2008 Mardi Gras Season has officially opened with the Epephany Party, it’s time to “Let the Good Times Roll”. Once again, the Krewe Babalu will host several parties, a ball, a balcony party and participate in all the Galveston Mardi Gras Parades.

The annual Krewe Babalu Ball will be held at the Hotel Galvez on Saturday January 16 at 8 PM. This year’s event will be a Masquerade Ball with live music, sprits and food. Following the ball will be the Den Party held Friday January 25th at their float barn which is located at 4802 Avenue E. And the public is welcome to join in on all of the fun.

Krewe Babalu will sponsor “The Fat Tuesday Public Celebration Party” which is the last official party of the Mardi Gras season open to the public. It will be held after the Fat Tuesday Parade at Cocktails, 2411 Mechanic’s Row.
