League City Chamber Announces New President
The League City Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors has announced its hire of Jason E. Ebey to the position of President & CEO.
Ebey has served as the chief executive for both the Red River Chamber of Commerce and the Minden-South Webster Chamber of Commerce in Louisiana and was the governmental affairs/communication director of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce, also in Louisiana.
"Jason was selected following an extensive executive search which generated responses for the position both locally and from outside our chamber's area," said Johnette Norman, League City Chamber Chairman. "We are excited about his addition to the League City Chamber and look forward to working with Jason."
As President & CEO, Ebey is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this membership-based organization and implementing the program of work set forth by the Board of Directors of the League City Chamber of Commerce. Ebey will assume his responsibilites with the Chamber on Tuesday, August 10.
"By selecting me as the next leader for this dynamic organization, the League City Chamber Board of Directors has placed a great deal of confidence in me, and for that I am deeply honored and humbled," said Ebey. "I look forward to meeting each member of the League City Chamber in the very near future and assisting in the growth of this area." |
