Williams Wins Top 3 Finalists For National V.P.
Paul Williams, 13 years old and a student at Bay Area Christian School, competed this past weekend at the National Jr. BETA Convention in Louisville, KY, and was elected to the Top 3 Finalists for National Vice President.
There were 15 states competing at the convention. Williams, who is the Texas V.P., gave his speech to 4,700 people and answered an impromptu question. The other V.P. finalists were from North Carolina and Tennessee.
Paul will attend the Broyhill Leadership Conference in South Carolina this month, as well as the Jr. National Youth Leadership Conference in Austin, TX next year.
He is President of his Jr. BETA Club, and active in baseball, basketball, football, and his Jr. High Praise Team at school. Paul begins the 8th grade this fall. He attends St. Mary’s Church. Paul is the brother of Halie, and son of Paul and Kelly Williams of Kemah.
