SAIC Employees Honored As NASA Innovators
(HOUSTON) June 25, 2010 –Science Applications International Corporation [NYSE: SAI] employees were recently honored with the NASA Johnson Space Center Director’s Innovation Award. The twelve employees serve on the Safety and Mission Assurance Support Services Contract at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
The awards were presented at an Honor Awards Ceremony held at the Johnson Space Center on May 20, 2010.
Tommy G. Perez, a government furnished equipment systems analyst, was recognized for demonstrating outstanding technical skills and creativeness in the areas of process analysis and task automation. His innovation realized a time savings of approximately 60-70 percent.
Jana Kent, the Science Safety and Mission Assurance International Space Station Operations Flight Lead was honored for her initiating and developing a database to track International Space Station operational concerns.
The Technical Review and Comments Management Development Team comprised of Kris Dietrich, Todd Franke, Tommy Perez, Charles (Jeff) Williams was recognized for their outstanding technical performance in developing an innovative web application for the management of program change request evaluations and responses.
Flight Safety Office Support Team members David Bradt, Dennis Pate, David Salvador, Erin Stevenson, Debra Stewart, William Stockton, Edward Weisblatt and two SAIC subcontractors was recognized for the development of innovative products that enhance the rapid evaluation of quantitative and qualitative information used in risk-based decisions by the Johnson Space Center Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate. |
