Clear Creek Independent School District Wins International Award
The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded the Meritorious Budget Award for excellence in the preparation and issuance of a 2009-2010 school system annual budget to the Clear Creek Independent School District.
The Meritorious Budget Awards Program was designed by ASBO International and school business management professionals to enable school business administration to achieve excellence in budget presentation. The Meritorious Budget Award is only conferred to school systems that have met or exceeded the Meritorious Budget Award Program criteria.
The Review Team said, “The District is to be complimented for its efforts. The budget is a fine document, which includes a wealth of information in graphic and narrative form. The document is user-friendly for the average taxpayer with lots of data presented in different forms to meet the needs of varied users.”
