Application Assistance Opportunities Offered To North Galveston County Residents For Housing Assistance Program
The Galveston County Housing Assistance Program will provide application assistance to County residents at two special evening sessions on Monday and Tuesday, March 15 and 16, from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., for the convenience of north County residents.
Monday, March 15: County Annex at League City,
Community Room #150, 174 Calder.

Hosted by Galveston County Commissioner Ken Clark and the Galveston County Housing Assistance Program, Intake Specialists will be onsite to assist residents whose homes have been destroyed or damaged by Hurricane Ike with the pre-application process and will schedule follow up appointments for application interviews. Applications will be available at the event; and light refreshments will be provided.
All residents of Galveston County are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with Intake Specialists for assistance. The initial application process takes about 15 minutes, and follow up appointments usually require little more than an hour. Intake Centers are ADA compliant and language interpreters are available upon request.
The County currently offers residents three locations where applications and inquiries may be made in person, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 A.M. through 6:00 P.M. These three Intake Centers are located at the Bolivar Annex, 446 Noble Carl Drive in Crystal Beach; Bacliff Community Center, 4500 10th Street in Bacliff; and the County Courthouse at 722 Moody Avenue, on the 1st floor.
