CCISD Art Teacher Selected As Outstanding Artist – League City
Clear Springs High School art teacher Richard Williams has been selected as The Art Alliance Center at Clear Lake’s (TAACCL) Outstanding Artist. He will be honored on February 20, 2010 during “A Magical Evening of Art,” a gala hosted by TAACCL at the Hobby Marriott.
In the selection of Williams as Outstanding Artist, The Arts Alliance at Clear Lake described him as someone who always gives back to TAACCL and the community. He is being honored for his artistic talent as well as for his support and dedication as he continues to make connections with other artists in this community as well as Houston. “Richard Williams really helped me to gain confidence as a teacher, said Clear Lake High School teacher Nina Makepeace, “He taught me a lot about how to present lessons to students in a meaningful way, and shared so many great ideas. Many of these ideas I still use in the classroom today.” |
