October 17 – League City Volunteer Fire
Department 70th Anniversary – League City
Fire fighters are known for heroic acts, saving lives and property; which we are
all grateful for. However, another goal is to educate our community in the
prevention of fires.
As part of the 70th anniversary of the League City Volunteer Fire Department,
several demonstrations were held to teach the public about the right and wrong
ways to handle fires in the home.
Listen in as Mark Turvey and Mike Hester, two of League City’s finest
firefighters, narrate the demonstrations
for Talk of the Bay and the rest of the
folks attending this event.
