Lisette Templin – Templin Photography
Concentrated movements and motions, everywhere and constant, on the site of the new Beach family home. Each night that I walked on to the site to begin my photo assignment, I just had to take a deep breath and try to feel my way through what seems like absolute chaos in motion. Blue shirts in action, intensely working together, trying to put this giant puzzle together, in a very short time. My challenge, to myself, was to figure out how to convey the spirit of the project on to images.
I was scheduled only night shifts so my first thought was, how do I find great light. On the first night I reluctantly carried my flash stand and bulky flash head hoping to not have to use it. WOW, the site was lit up light a football stadium. High contrast photography, I love it. This fits perfectly with the intensity of the project. I moved from one corner to the next looking for the right moment when the people, the action, the setting and the right lighting direction perfectly aligned themselves for a fun image.
I hope you enjoy browsing through all the images that were made by all the photographers that were on the site. Thank you for all the smiles, and thank you Daniel of SIP who took me up twice on his lift. We were up about 40 ft, and the temperature was in the 20's. We froze our toes but I got some great images. With heart like our community has, I know we can make it through anything!!! What an experience!!!!
I can be reached through www.templinphoto.com if there are any questions about any image.
