The Butler Longhorn Museum to Host an Appreciation Celebration and Opening
The Butler Longhorn Museum proudly announces a soft opening scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2010. At this time the museum will be open to the public beginning January 5th and 6th followed with a two day per week schedule until officially open in the spring. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for public viewing and tours. Special events may also be scheduled. The grand opening is slated in April 2010 upon completion of exhibits in progress. Following the opening day an appreciation celebration will be held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., January 5th in honor of the numerous museum sponsors, donors, volunteers and members. Hosted by the Museum Director, Jennifer Wycoff and the Museum Executive Board, recognition, refreshments and tours will be provided. Museum admittance tickets are $3.00 for children under 12 years of age, $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for members and senior citizens. Also, museum members receive 10% off all gift shop purchases.
