Extreme Makeover: Home Edition – Day 3
Concrete, a lot of it…The foundation was framed and ready for the pumpers to pour the concrete; all was ready and on schedule. Then the weather hit.
The hoses on the concrete trucks, all 20 of them, froze solid. Laborers hand carried buckets of water and started dumping the water into the concrete mix. Fortunately, the Kemah Fire Department showed up and took care of the problem. They literally hosed down the concrete and the pumpers started working. YEA!
