September 30 - Seasons of Love – Clear Lake
Thursday September 30, 2010, Bay Area Turning Point and Clear Lake High School will present Seasons of Love: Promoting Hope, Health and Happiness Every Day of the Year. Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m. with performances from 6:30-9 pm in the Clear Lake High School Auditorium located at 2929 Bay Area Blvd, Houston, Texas 77058.
The evening will feature inspiring and outreaching performances by Clear Lake High School Theatre students including monologues from Eve Ensler’s “I am an Emotional Creature” and scenes from other notable plays. Speakers and vendors from various community organizations will also promote healthy choices lead to healthy lives.
Attendees will be able to bid on silent auction items as well as purchase bake sale items and tickets for door prizes throughout the evening. Proceeds from the event will assist Bay Area Turning Point in serving the women, children and men who are affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness in the Greater Bay Area. Tickets to the production are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased at Bay Area Turning Point’s Administrative Offices located at 210 South Walnut Street, Webster, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday – Friday or at Clear Lake High School.
