March 5 thru Mrch 21 – Biloxi Blues – Clear Lake
Neil Simon’s Biloxi Blues opens Friday night March 5th at Clear Creek Community Theatre. This semi autobiographical tale of Simon’s follows the life of Eugene Morris Jerome after being drafted into the army during World War II and sent to boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi. Through his diary entries, the naive Jerome, who has never left home, tells the tale of his life there as he confronts difficult issues and develops his “writer’s sensibility.” Biloxi Blues will run from March 5th through the 21st. Curtains are at 8: PM Friday and Saturday nights with Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM.
