  October 17 - South Shore Dockside Food & Wine – League City

“Sippin’ on the Dock of the Bay” The only event of its kind on the Texas gulf coast features a first class atmosphere. On Saturday, October 17th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. wine novices and experts alike enjoy four themed pavilions presenting wines from all over the globe. For those who prefer something different, the Festival offers Here’s the Beer & Spirits Pavilion. Ongoing live entertainment sets the mood for a spectacular celebration. Guests are treated to distinctive cuisine from popular local eateries, culinary demonstrations, high end artists and exhibitors plus automobile and boat displays.

Just 20 minutes south of downtown Houston , the Festival is held in the Bay Area Houston region located midway between Houston and Galveston at the prestigious South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center Marina in League City .

The South Shore Dockside Food & Wine Festival is produced by C4 Clear Creek Community Charities, Inc a non-profit group which provides financial support to local projects. 2009 charity partners are Autism Speaks, Communities in Schools and Bay Area Pet Adoption.
