The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce has partnered with “Fund Times, Inc.”

to help with our ever-necessary fundraising. This program is new but has been receiving accolades from PTA/PTO’s, churches, and most recently a hospital, but this is the first time a Chamber has used it.

The parent company of Fund Times has been replacing watch batteries for national store chains for about 30 years (www.fundstimesinc.com). In fact, if you’ve ever taken a watch to a major department store at a mall, chances are they did the battery replacement and you paid the retail markup! And these folks at Fund Times don’t fool around…they use the finest Swiss batteries and guarantee the battery for two years.

This program is for “casual” watches…Seiko, Timex, Casio, etc…NOT Rolexes or any watch that originally cost over \$250. Watches are collected and are insured…even transported to their Houston shop by a former US Marshal!

Batteries are \$10 each…that’s for standard AND Lithium batteries…go see what they charge for a lithium battery at the mall! The good news is the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce retains \$4 for each watch.

If a new battery does not repair the watch you will be refunded the \$10 and receive a free, wholesale estimate to repair it.

Drop your watch by the Chamber office during regular hours and fill out a repair ticket. You can also drop it by at the business Expo on November 12. Checks are made out to the Chamber.

So go look in those drawers and desktops for watches you “meant” to take to the mall…the mall is coming to us!!!
