Clear Lake Shores Business Update
By Ronnie Richards
There is a lot of activity to report in the Clear Lake Shores Town Center and our adjoining ETJ along FM 2094. Opus Bistro is nearly complete and plans to open within two weeks. I’m told this upscale bistro style restaurant will feature continental cuisine, full bar and a state of the art kitchen. Nothing was spared on the interior design and it will add another dimension to dining choices not only in Clear Lake Shores. In my opinion Opus will be the most elegant and upscale eatery on this side of the lake. read on... |
December 2009 - Business Development Update - Bay Area
Attached is the December Business Development from the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. Report |
The Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce has partnered with “Fund Times, Inc.”
to help with our ever-necessary fundraising. This program is new but has been receiving accolades from PTA/PTO’s, churches, and most recently a hospital, but this is the first time a Chamber has used it.
The parent company of Fund Times has been replacing watch batteries for national store chains for about 30 years (www.fundstimesinc.com). In fact, if you’ve ever taken a watch to a major department store at a mall, chances are they did the battery replacement and you paid the retail markup! And these folks at Fund Times don’t fool around…they use the finest Swiss batteries and guarantee the battery for two years. read on... |

Politically Incorrect Dinner- League City
It was another very entertaining night that Mary Proudy and the www.NorthGalvestonCountyChamber.com put together. Anytime you can get your politicians to do whatever you want immediately, has to be fun, (or just plain gratifying). We watched them doing anything from singing, dancing, playing instruments to push ups. It all came at a cost-cash! (But isn’t that the case anyways?) The local politicians served up a wonderful meal as waiters and were tipped according to their service to the public. read on... |
